Body-Mind Classes - Pilates, TRX and Yoga



At BreakThrough Fitness, we offer yoga, Pilates, and TRX classes in addition to strength training to help round out your wellness program.

These body-mind classes take place in our beautiful studio on the ground level of our facility. You don't have to be a member of BreakThrough Fitness to take advantage of the classes, but as a member, you will receive a discount on class fees. We gladly welcome drop-in students to all classes.

Yoga Instruction
Our yoga instructors teach mixed-level Hatha yoga classes for groups of up to 10 people that range in length from 60 to 75 minutes. The instructors also provide private and semi-private sessions by appointment.

Yoga instructor Sara Byrnes offers classes in gentle Vinyasa style, emphasizing integration of flowing postures, breath and a focused mind. A teacher since 1991, Sara completed Integrative Yoga Therapy Training in 1994. She has studied the Iyengar and Annusara styles of yoga and traveled to India to study meditation with Shiva Rudra Balayogi.

Pilates Instruction
Pilates instructor Marla Stephens offers group floor classes and also floor and reformer sessions on a private and semi-private basis. Marla uses her experience in working with patients at a pain clinic and a fusion of training techniques to help clients with chronic and acute physical challenges. She is equally adept at helping healthy and active individuals achieve a greater level of fitness.

Marla holds a B.A. in kinesiology from Sonoma State University and is an American Council on Exercise-certified personal trainer, a Level 1 Pilates Reformer Certified Instructor through Balanced Body and a certified massage therapist.
